Reebok Marketing Strategy

While I'm certainly a fan of this commercial, the marketer in me
is left scratching my head.

My guess would be this ad is going to appeal to men... ya think?

Yet it's for women's shoes?

So, does this ad do a good job of selling to women?  

Or is this the misguided marketing strategy of some guy at
Reebok put in charge of a campaign for... women!

PS - By misguided I mean in speaking to his target audience.
However, who ever did the casting, I think has a great eye for talent ;-)
