Classic Joel Bauer... Humble, quiet, a little shy, lol.
His point is VERY valid. In business, especially in marketing you MUST stand out. There is NO substitution for setting
yourself apart from the crowd.*Update: Someone just sent me a video of a
young version of Joel... Funny stuff, here's a link.

What an amazing and emotional video.
Another reminder to be thankful for so many things we take for granted.

> Question:
What was the first business you started?
> Answer:
I started as a distributor for a
network marketing company
when I was 18.
That’s also how Jim Rohn
and Zig Ziglar started.
Jim was in Herbalife.
Zig was in Salad Master.
I went on to speak for and consult with
many companies both inside and outside
the network marketing industry.
I still have active network marketing
organizations with 50,000+ distributors.

If you believe in what you're doing
and stick with it, eventually the masses
will want to come "dance" with you ;-)

Just had a convo with a young up and coming
Entrepreneur Bad A$$ friend of mine and discussed
the difference between Ben Affleck in Boiler Room
and Alec Baldwin in Glengarry Glen Ross...
to Michael Jackson on an average day... It's just not fair.Alec Baldwin in Glengarry > Ben Affleck in Boiler Room... Period.Ben was good, but the comparison just isn't fair.
Both were great scenes though!

In this scene Alec is a big meany face... but it's classic!
(You may want to cover your ears and close your eyes.)
